Sea Kayak Shipping Made Simple -

Once you place your order for your new QCC sea kayak it is usually produced and ready to ship in 3 to 4 weeks. The day your kayak ships you will receive an email from us with the shipping information and a tracking number. In the email there will also be a link that you can click on that will allow you to track your kayak as it makes its way to you. Regardless of where you live in the 48 contiguous states or most of Canada your sea kayak will arrive in 3 days or less from the time of shipping.

When you recieve your kayak please inspect the packaging. If there is damage to the carton insist that the driver note it on the Delivery Receipt. If the carton is damaged it is a good idea to remove and inspect the kayak while the driver is present. If there is damage to the kayak that too must be noted on the delivery receipt. All damage to the kayak or the packaging must be reported to QCC within 24 hours of receipt either by phone or email.


At QCC Kayaks we have been shipping sea kayaks to individuals all over the world for years. One of the things that makes it possible for us to do this so successfully is our custom designed kayak packaging. We don't just wrap our kayaks in bubble pack and hope for the best. We have designed an incredibly sturdy carton to stand up to the abuse freight companies are known for.

We've also developed a relationship with an exceptional shipping company, Con-Way Freight. By working with them we have reduced our kayak shipping damage to almost zero. We can't say there is never any damage because every once in a great while it will occur.

In the rare instance when damage to a kayak occurs we will handle it completely from this end. We have never had a kayak damaged so badly that it couldn't be used. So we tell our customers to go ahead and use the kayak while we build them a new replacement kayak. Once the new sea kayak is ready we ship that to them and then they will return the damaged kayak. Of course, we pay all of the shipping costs. We just think that if you bought a new kayak you should have a new, flawless sea kayak. We also don't think the customer is in the best position to deal with the freight company, we have much more pull with them.
