The SmartTrack Sea Kayak Rudder System is a terrific kayaking system which features a foil shaped rudder blade and a very unique kayak footbrace system. The footbraces are easily adjusted while sitting in the kayak and feature a dual pedal system. The Bracing Pedal is a fixed pedal that allows solid bracing whether the rudder is deployed or not. The Toe Pilot is situated above the Bracing Pedal and controls the rudder with a simple push of the toes. Perfect for day kayaking or kayak touring.

Retractable Skegs

We also offer all of our kayaks with a retractable skeg option. The skeg is a small blade beneath the stern of the kayak that can be deployed at varying depths to assist tracking in difficult conditions.
